Critical Media Pedagogy in the Public Interest

Abstract


This article examines pedagogical issues that arise from teachingin a critical media studies program that incorporates significantexperiential learning into its curriculum. In this self-reflectivearticle, the authors explore the challenges of marrying theoryandpractice in an undergraduate program aimed at empoweringstudents to help create a more socially just world.
