A review of the Phanus vitreus group (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae: Pyrginae).

The "vitreus" group of Phanus was reexamined. Four new species are described: Phanus albiapicalis n. sp.. Phanus confusis n. sp., Phanus ecitonorum n. sp., and Phanus grandis n. sp. Two were previously recognized as different but insufficient material existed. The seven included species appear as two subgroups.
